The Bottle Imp Productions website is built from an existing Wordpress theme with extremely heavy customization that I built specifically for the purpose of administering a record label. I built custom post types for the artist roster and discography. Each custom post type has options appropriate to the type, and archive/single pages custom for each type.
For the artist page, the end user can upload an artist profile photo, artist name, links the artist's office page, appropriate social media links, etc.

Everything is SEO optimized. The blog supports Google authorship which is functionally in place. All custom post types have appropriate Schema markup as needed. I integrated Google custom search into the theme.
For the discography, the end user can upload album art, and input all the album details including artist name, album name, a release date, the tracklisting, links to major digital stores like iTunes and Spotify, embed audio codes and include press snippets.
The custom post types are rendered with custom templates so that every page of its type has a consistent look and feel. From the end user perspective, the site is easy to administer and requires little design knowledge.
The theme is built using Bootstrap 2.3.2 and renders intelligently on all mobile devices.
